Without seeking to tell the story in advance, Heather’s car had been a running car in the Alvis Car Club, owned by Michael Payne, before being sold to Eric Cunningham whose wife used it as a daily driver. A motor vehicle accident required a significant rebuild.
Eventually, Heather bought it. Although much work had already been done to a high standard, she completed the restoration to its original condition - a daunting task on any half-completed project. The resulting car is superb.
This restoration is an interesting contrast to the approach Todd took with the December Car of the Month.
